This deck combines the best of traditional tarot with such lush artistry that each individual card speaks volumes all by itself. The Golden Tarot`s creator Kat Black formed this deck entirely out of lesser know artworks from the middle ages and early renaissance. She took these images and skillfully wove them together so seamlessly that much of the artwork looks like it is unchanged from when it was first painted. This deck comes in a hard-shelled box with a solid bound guide book. The rounded edges of these highest quality cards are gilded in a thick gold band. While the gilding can make these cards a little stiff at first, the more readings you do with them the more supple and familiar to your hand they will become.
